Lettuce, tomato and char grilled vegetables with basil pesto, feta and aioli on toasted sour dough. Served with golden fries.

“Gran Ma’s” Lambs Fry and Bacon

Tender lambs liver sautéed with Smokey bacon and caramelized onion in a rich Speights gravy. Served on creamy mash potato with toasted sour dough.

A-maiz-ing Corn Fritters

Corn fritters with smokey bacon, sour cream and sweet chilli.

“Waitoa” Eggs Benedict

An old favourite, poached eggs with smokey bacon, topped with homemade hollandaise sauce, served on toasted ale house bread.

Marinated chicken breast, bacon, apricots and cream cheese, wrapped in golden filo pastry, topped with plum sauce and toasted almond shavings. Served with salad greens and crispy potatoes.

Tender marinated calamari rings, cooked until golden, served with crispy potatoes and roast garlic aioli, finished with a Greek salad.

The ‘Townie’ Vegetable Salad

Summer salad leaves, Israeli cous cous, vegetables and feta. Yoghurt tahini dressing and crustini.

“Hunter” Steak Sandwich

Char grilled sirloin steak cooked medium with smokey bacon, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato and havarti cheese, served on Speight’s sour dough with a stout chutney and roasted garlic aioli. Served with golden fries.
